Engineering Creativity
Hi, I'm Berta, the person behind BearTaDa. I started my career as a software developer. I'm also an Air Force veteran who served in a civil engineering squadron, worked as an avionics engineer, and now work as an electrical engineer.
To me, engineering is a profession, like medicine or teaching. We take our work seriously. That doesn't mean we have to take ourselves seriously all the time.
For Engineers. By Engineers.
I started BearTaDa because engineering is full of colorful characters: nerdy people with wonderfully unhinged senses of humor and a desire to fix the world one circuit at a time. Even in the most serious jobs, we need room to have fun and laugh at ourselves.
As we said in the Air Force: Work hard. Play hard. That's the spirit behind BearTaDa.
A little personality for technical minds
Our shirts, drinkware, notebooks, decals and wall art bring engineering details and a healthy dose of sarcasm into everyday life. Whether you're choosing something for your own workspace or a gift for an engineer, electrician or technician, I want it to feel like it belongs.
Engineering Creativity is our official slogan and the idea at the heart of it all: serious curiosity, playful design, and humor that speaks your language.
Designed by BearTaDa, made to order
BearTaDa develops the concepts and final design direction. We work with production partners to make and ship your items when you order. AI-assisted tools are used during artwork development and refinement.
